Carlos Garcia-Noriega Bueno is an incredibly gifted sculptor whose works are mainly site specific and interact with their surroundings, which is why you can find his sculptures outside, for the sun and the elements to play a part in their geometry, shapes and shadows. This is a collaboration with Subject_ In Carlos' words: Vallejo is a tribute to an industrial suburb of Mexico City where I have been involved in recent property development that is changing the contextual fabric of the area. All the sculptures are different variations of a plan using the same proportions, they're meant to pay respect to the heritage and hard work of the people that have inhabited Industrial Vallejo.
